Drake's Waterfowl Guide

List of Things To Have:

NJ Hunting license, State and Federal Duck Stamps, HIP#.

Clothing:

Chest Waders, Sunglasses, Gloves, Warm Waterproof Camo Clothing, Layering is best so you can remove clothing as Needed or bring extra clothing along. You may bring your own PFD if you like. They will also be provided and on the boat. It is your responsibility to wear or decline to wear a PFD while underway.

Weapon:

Shotguns we recommend are 10-gauge or 12-gauge and non-toxic shells.

Recommendations are 3" - #2s, #3s,  steel shot for diver hunting and   3 1/2"- #2s or BB. for Sea Duck hunting.

Bring a minimum of two boxs per day

You are responsible for safe firearm handling.

Food and Drink:

Thermos of Hot Beverage, Water, Soda, Sandwich and Snacks.

Miscellaneous:

A few days prior to the hunt we will talk so that we can get you caught up on the weather and conditions and what is being seen at the time. A final decision will most likely be made a day or two prior to your hunt. If at any time you have questions please feel free to contact us.
